• How to get there
• ¢º From Seoul
• The subway is the easiest and fastest way to get to the place.
• Incheon station is the last station of Gyeongin Railway, and if you take the bus from there, the final place of the bus route is Wolmido. It takes an hour from Seoul St. to Incheon St. and it takes 10 minutes from Incheon St. to Wolmido.
• If you want to drive, follow the sign from the last stop of Gyeongin Expressway, it takes 15 minutes for that. If you take the signs from the Gyeongin Expressway the Second, it takes 20 minutes.
• ¢º From Incheon
• There is a local buses such as number 2, 15, 23 and 45.
• All those buses stop at the Incheon St. so it is recommended to take the subway at the Incheon St.
• ¢º From Incheon Int'l Airport
• From the Incheon Int'l Airport, you can arrive at Yeongjong Wharf by trailing the milepost, and take the car ferry to get to Wolmido Island.
• Wolmido Island amusement park

• After Wolmido Island was zoned to be developed as a tourist attraction in 1918 by Incheon city, sea water baths, beaches, entertainment centers, botanical gardens and other facilities were built to attract visitors from all over the place during the summer. Wolmisan which was restricted for 50 years was returned to the citizens, and amusement park, cultural street, cafe and raw-fish restaurants are providing great happiness to visitors today.

• Wolmi Park (Korea Traditional Garden District)

• Incheon's toursit attraction breathing with nature After Wolmido Island was zoned to be developed as a tourist attraction in 1918 by Incheon city, sea water baths, beaches, entertainment centers, Botanical gardens and other facilities were built to attract visitors from all over the place during the summer. It was renamed as Wolmi park from Wolmi amusement park. One attraction that can't be missed is Korea Traditional Garden District which holds the history of Wolmido Island. Changdeokgung Palace Huwon's pond(Buyongji), the pond(Aeryeonii) full with lotus flower and the traditional Korean ancient architecture of Yangjindang are highlights of this place. With sights like artificial waterfall, artificial pond, brook, rice paddy and etc, it feels like if we're on the time-travel to Choseon Dynasty Period. Wolmi Park can be effectively used as a place for students' education, an healthy resting place for citizens. Across Incheon National Maritime High School, Korea Immigration Museum is getting ready to open.

• Cultural Streets of Wolmido Island

• Street filled with dreams and romance Falling into the bright light Cultural Streets of Wolmido Island established on July of 1989 have a diameter of 20m and height of 770m. This street embracing the sea lights up the sky at night with the 'colonnade of light'. The 15 light pillars which are ceremoniously lined up in a section of 350m from the 2nd dock to the open-air stage in the center of Wolmido¡®s cultural quarter seem like that they are facing the far off Incheon International Airport control towel's lighting and talking throughout the night with their lights. Cultural streets of Wolmido Island which attract thousands of people on the weekends have amusement park, cafe street, raw-fish restaurants and other attraction in harmony, along with various performances during the weekend. Especially people continuously visit to see the burning sunset entering the sea.

• Outdoor Stage

• Street of passion for progress At the end point of Cultural street, an outdoor stage is located next to the sea. The stage is open for everyone. Whether it is a dance, a song, a play, what is needed is an advanced application. Dance ? play ? poetry recitals ? traditional events and other diverse performances always keep the outdoor stage full of joy with different backgrounds of the stage according to the season. Performances that change along with the scenary nature has granted us give a different impression. Try being a hero at the outdoor stage shaped of a folded paper crane known to actualize hopes and dreams. Let our passion blossom on the stage.

• Waterfront Park

• Pro-eco theme space within the city With a road toward the sea, Waterfront Park provides a place where one may wet their hands in the salty water. Bumpy rocks forming a pleasant scenary along with the mini light house is a place where the strong waves come splashes their body can be seen. It is like that it is splashing in people's heart watching the scene. Sitting on the rock, the passenger ships and cruises connecting Wolmido Island and Yeongjongdo Island, and seagulls flying across the sky can be seen. An invitation to the road to the sea, people's footsteps lead to Waterfront park to see the sunset and fall into their deep thoughts.

• Amusement Park

• Date course full of surprises Cheerful music that makes you dance! Wolmido Island is hot and full of joyful shouts from the youth on various rides! Wolmido amusement park is always full of youth and energy. The Viking ride at Wolmido Island which is famous for its thrills presents another luck of watching the sea in the air. Also, the talkative DJs at each attraction are another fun for the visitors. They bring joy to people as if they were comedians. A smile rises not only on people's faces on the rides but also on the faces of people passing by.

• Cafe Street

• The unchanging green promise All the cafes on Cultural Streets of Wolmido Island have windows of the size that can embrace the sea. It is the perfect place to watch the sea, for lovers looking for romance, and families looking for a place of special memories. Cafes looking like the world of Fairy tales, the sweet scent of coffee heightens the romantic atmosphere. This atmosphere of the cafes may be the reason for making Wolmido so famous.

• Cruises, Sunset

• Memories on the most luxury cruises in Korea The sea seen from Land and the sea from the sea is quite different. There is a course where you may depart and sail across Incheon costal area and enjoy sightseeing. Cosmos Excursion ship departing from Wolmido provides two courses. One goes through Yeongjongdo Island, Jakyakdo Island, Yeongjong Grand Bridge, thermal power station and returns back while the other course goes through Wolmido, Yeongjongdo Island, Jakyakdo Island, Incheon Grand Bridge, and returns from Yeonan Pier. Harmony Excursion Ship cruise lasts about 1 hour 20 minutes and it departs from Yeonan Pier, passes Incheon Floodgate, Incheon Grand Bridge, Yeongjongdo, Songdo New Town and returns back. Sunset seen on the cruise is a magnificent sight that can't be missed. As the blazing sun goes in to the sea, the sea, the ship, the island as well as the faces of people watching turns red along with it.

• Incheon Landing Operation Signpost

• Historical Stage with the climax moment It was 06:30 in the morning, and the US Navy the 3rd Regiment was under covering fire of squadron. The troops landed on the Green Beach of Wolmido. At 17:35, they advanced to Red Beach which is located on the north of Wolmido. One day of operation made it possible to win the losing game. After 30 years of Civil War, on September 15th 1980, the monument was erected in memory of the Incheon landing operation. One is located in the Green Beach, the starting point of Culture Boulevard, and another is placed in the Red Beach, which is on the way to Wolmido from Incheon Station.
